Journal Article 2023 02 19 The textbook "Drama (17th-20th C.)" was published by Payam Noor Publishing House in 2018. The authors of this book are Belghis Roshan and Hossein Rahmani. The audience of this textbook is undergraduate students of English language and literature. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the quality of this book based on Mansoorian's academic book evaluation criteria. The method of conducting this research is critical analysis. According to the findings, the strengths of the book include the use of the ideas of other experts, simple and fluent writing, and the attractive design of the book cover. The weaknesses of this book include failure to consider the same structure in the presentation of material in the chapters that are related to literary courses, failure to comply with citations appropriate to English literature texts, failure to comply with the interactive nature of the book, insufficient compliance with physical characteristics, lack of necessary attention to the subject of theater. The present study results show that the authors have not fully considered the ten principles of Mansourian Criteria in their book. For this reason, the book needs to be revised to address the shortcomings in order to be more effective. کتاب درسی <em>نمایشنامه قرن 17 تا 20</em> در انتشارات پیام نور در سال 1398 به چاپ رسیده است. نویسندگان این کتاب بلقیس روشن و حسین رحمانی‌ و مخاطبان آن دانشجویان کارشناسی رشتة زبان و ادبیات انگلیسی‌اند. هدف مقالة حاضر ارزیابی کیفیت این کتاب براساس معیارهای ارزشیابی کتاب‌های دانشگاهی منصوریان (1392) بوده است. روش انجام این پژوهش تحلیل انتقادی است. براساس یافته‌ها، نقاط قوت کتاب شامل استفاده از اندیشه‌های سایر متخصصان موضوعی، نگارش ساده و روان، طراحی جذاب جلد کتاب است. ضعف‌های این کتاب عبارت‌اند از: رعایت نکردن ساختار یکسان در ارائة مطالب در فصل‌هایی که مرتبط با دوره‌های ادبی است، رعایت نکردن استناددهی متناسب با متون ادبیات انگلیسی، رعایت نکردن ماهیت تعاملی، عدم رعایت کامل ویژگی‌های فیزیکی، و نداشتن توجه لازم به بحث تئاتر. با توجه به یافته‌ها می‌توان نتیجه گرفت که نویسندگان نتوانسته‌اند تمامی اصول ده‌گانة منصوریان را در کتاب به‌صورت کامل رعایت کنند و این کتاب نیاز به بازنگری دارد.<br />  https://jut.samt.ac.ir/article_707652_8f9d5d51558f9794ceaeef51fdb40d87.pdf
