Abstract

The aim of the current research was to identify the components of the nullification of the elementary education curriculum in order to enrich the academic books of students-teachers in Farhangian University. The research method was qualitative content analysis using thematic analysis technique. The participants were professors and students of Farhangian University of West Azarbaijan province in the academic year of 1400-1401, and 23 of them were interviewed in the form of targeted sampling of the desired type. The interviews were semi-structured and sampling continued until data saturation. Long-term engagement, negative case analysis, research audit, and rich data description were used to validate the findings. The obtained data were analyzed using a 3-step process consisting of King and Harrocks (2010), Brown and Clark (2006) and Atride-Sterling (2001). The findings show that 8 components of organizational approach, educational action, teacher's self-image, curriculum stratification, synthesis, entrepreneurship, cognitive exploration and self-determination are inclusive themes, which with 25 organizing themes and 175 basic themes are effective in eliminating or reducing the absurdity of university curricula. As a result, by identifying the effective factors on the process of nullification of curricula and planning to eliminate or reduce its effectiveness, it provided the foundations for the material and spiritual enrichment of textbooks in order to improve the educational and research experiences of students-teachers.
