ارزیابی کتاب های زبان انگلیسی برای رشته های پزشکی( ای ام پی) در ایران با استفاده از زبان شناسی پیکره ای همراه با ارائه لیست خلاصه ای از کلمات پزشکی مکمل برای دانشجویان

چکیده

زبان انگلیسی برای اهداف خاص در این سال‌ها اهمیت بیشتری پیدا کرده است. برای نمونه، زبان انگلیسی برای اهداف پزشکی نقشی حیاتی برای دانشجویان پزشکی دارد. این مطالعه با هدف ارزیابی کتب درسی تدریس‌شده برای آموزش زبان انگلیسی در رشته‌های مختلف دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی انجام شد. این مطالعه بر روی شش کتاب درسی که به‌طور گسترده در دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی استفاده می‌شود، متمرکز بود. روش تحلیل، زبان‌شناسی پیکره‌ای بود. محققان این مطالعه پیکرۀکتاب‌های انگلیسی برای رشته‌های پزشکی (ای ام پی) و همچنین پیکره‌ای از ویدئوهای یوتیوب با محتوای پزشکی را گردآوری کردند. آن‌ها پیکرۀ کتاب درسی را با پیکرۀ یوتیوب و همچنین پیکره‌ای که از قبل در دسترس است به نام پیکرۀ پزشکی وب (پیکرۀ مرجع) مقایسه کردند. برای تجزیه و تحلیل از اسکچ انجین استفاده شد. براساس یافته‌ها، پیکرۀ یوتوب با پیکرۀ پزشکی وب تا حدودی سازگار بودند و هم‌پوشانی 69.67 درصدی داشتند. در این مطالعه همچنین کلماتی که در پیکرۀ پزشکی وب و پیکره‌های یوتیوب بودند و در پیکرۀ ‌ای ام پی وجود نداشتند، انتخاب شدند تا به‌عنوان لیست خلاصه‌ای از کلمات پزشکی مکمل ( سی ام وی ال) در اختیار دانشجویان پزشکی قرار بگیرد. فراگیران و متخصصان پزشکی ممکن است از این لیست خلاصه به‌عنوان یک لیست فشردۀ مختص پزشکی استفاده کنند و محققان ممکن است از این لیست کلمات جدید با فراوانی پایین در مطالعات پیکره‌ای خود استفاده کنند.

چکیده [English]

English for Specific Purposes (ESP) has been more considered in these years. English for Medical Purposes (EMP) as one of its types plays a vital role for medical students. This study was conducted to evaluate the textbooks taught in teaching English in different programs of medical universities. The study focused on six textbooks widely used in medical universities. The method for the analysis was corpus linguistics. The researchers of the study compiled the English for Medical Programs (EMP) corpus as well as a corpus from the videos of YouTube with medical content. They compared the corpus of the textbook with the YouTube corpus as well as an already available corpus known as the Medical Web Corpus. Sketch Engine was used for the analysis. According to the findings, the YouTube corpus was somewhat consistent with the Medical Web Corpus and there was an overlap of 69.67%. Also, a 58.53% consistency was obtained between the two corpora of YouTube and EMP. According to further analysis, a Compact Medical Word List (CMWL) was selected according to its coverage in the Youtube and Web corpora. The CMWL which was of zero coverage in EMP corpus is useful to medical learners and professionals as a compact medicine-specific list as well as researchers who may use the new low-frequency lists in corpus studies.
