Background and Objectives: Paying attention to curriculum knowledge and utilizing this area to review, organize, and design a suitable program for specialized academic disciplines is a fundamental and effective step in achieving the goals of any academic discipline. The present study was conducted with the aim of examining the output of the history curriculum in order to achieve an appropriate curriculum model.Method: Accordingly, the present study has utilized a descriptive-analytical and applied approach and documentary method based on domestic and foreign research and lived experience, and by posing this question: What is the level of desirability of the curriculum and history education and its impact on the academic and professional competence of learners?? Examines content and educational challenges that are disproportionate to the mission of this science and the needs of society in order to explain its revision and developments.Discussion and Conclusion: A review of historical data and the lived experience of researchers indicates that the lack of a theoretical and practical framework and a coherent and efficient operational plan for teaching andThe evaluation of history lessons, unrealistic orientations, and the inadequacy of the history curriculum in strengthening the academic, social, and career competencies of graduates have led to the failure to achieve the goals of this science and reduced its capabilities and skills.As a result, in order to fundamentally transform and adapt the science of history
